If you don’t already have a regular avenue for donations, or are a little overwhelmed by the amount of donation sites online, my advice would be to donate to a major aid organization, such as The Red Cross.
We were fortunate that nobody we know in Japan has been affected by this, but that of course doesn’t change the scope of death and destruction: it only means the burden of loss has fallen upon someone else. Please join me in keeping the tsunami victims and their families in your hearts.
