What a weekend. Yesterday, I celebrated 7 fantastic years with the Adam to my – well, it would be funny if my name was Eve, wouldn’t it? but you get the idea – and today is Valentine’s Day!

Anyway, you’ve been following my twitter feed, you’ll already know how obsessed I am over my new pot of white calligraphy ink. So of course it was the first thing I reached for when I sat down to make my valentines.

I love how well it lends itself to modern calligraphy.

And yes, I make a valentine for my mother every year. You should too.

This year, she showed me up by making the most adorable themed dessert ever: ruby red, heart shaped agar-agar jellies.

There were also bunny-shaped almond jellies…which nobody could bear to eat.
