diffusing the situation

January 5, 2011

It dawned on me recently that I’d like the studio to smell better than it usually does. Mostly it smells like kerosene, which is fantastic for cleaning a dirty press, but rather headache-inducing on a whole.

Since scented candles are obviously out of the question, and a room spray requires fussing, I’ve been thinking about getting a nice reed diffuser to tuck into a corner and forget about.

Then I found this cool post about making a reed diffuser, and now the gears in my head are really turning – finally, a use for all the glass bottles we’ve been inexplicably stockpiling!
