Hello internet! I’m Emily, Founder and Creative Director of Paper Tiger Presss, Singapore’s first luxury letterpress studio. Though I was formally trained in the creative field and hold a Bachelor of Design, I detoured through the magazine and fashion industries before finally returning to my roots as a designer. Completely obsessed with stationery and pretty things, I began letterpress printing as a way to supply myself with beautiful note cards and paper goods I couldn’t find locally.
To cut a long story short, after a couple years of hobby printing I finally decided to start making paper fanatics (other than just myself) happy, and Paper Tiger Press was born. I started this blog to track our progress, but also hope it’ll be a place to catalog and share design ideas as well as offer everyone the chance to see some behind-the-scenes of what we do. Hint: it’s messier than you think.
