Paper Tiger Press

gatsby glam, continued

December 18, 2013

Remember this behind-the-scenes recap I did of that Great Gatsby-themed shoot? Well, I’m happy to announce that The Wedding Scoop’s official post is now up!

As I mentioned in my last post, I contributed stationery suite that included invitations, RSVP cards, monogrammed notecards, custom envelopes, calligraphy escort and place cards, menus, table numbers and seat signs. Phew!

The overall look was very Art Deco: linear and with an emphasis on geometric patterns.

I did the invitations, RSVP cards, monogrammed notecards, place cards and menus in a lovely pewter letterpress, and worked in some flat printing and calligraphy onto champagne paper for the escort cards.

If you love this as much as I do, good news! We’ll be introducing this elegant invitation design into our RTW (ready-to-write) collection for 2014.

Big thank you to Bespoke Brides for the amazing photos, Nosh for the venue, and Wonderland for Detailed Planners for styling the set – and my work – so beautifully. The rest of the shots are up on The Wedding Scoop along with a full list of vendor credits.
