If you follow me on Instagram, you already know that I recently got to play stylist for Italian label NaraCamicie Singapore – a huge first for me, and especially nerve-wrecking since I also had to play model. Eep!
We shot the outfits in my standard Outfit of the Day format (you can see them all here), but decided to do a mini photo story for the very last look. I mean, I’d already fluffed my hair up to the high heavens and had all that makeup on…why waste, right?
I’d be remiss to not admit that this experience gave me a newfound respect for the ability models have to ignore stares from curious onlookers. I guess in the age of selfie sticks, having your photo taken by an actual photographer with an actual camera is a pretty old-timey concept. (Bonus: You can see said old-timey photographer in this shot!)
Old gramps here would love to thank the kind folks at NaraCamicie for their faith in my abilities and letting me have a field day with their Spring/Summer 2014 collection. FYI, the entire SS2014 collection is on sale for the duration of the GSS, and they currently only bring in one set of size ranges per style. So if you’ve seen something you like here, you’re going to have to hustle!
