I’m not the preppiest boarding school grad out there, but a good dress shirt + cardigan combo is pretty hard to fault. There’s just something so feminine and polished about a crisp white shirt cuffed over a 3/4 sleeve cardi, don’t you think?
I worked in cork wedges, tropical colours and a long rope of coral beads in lieu of pearls to take the look from East-Coast-Waspy to Island-Prep.
Ok, Island-Prep isn’t a thing. But it’s a great way to wear corporate staples in a non-corporate way, and I’m all for wardrobe repurposing!
