ootd: tapered statement pants

I got a couple of questions on the pants I was wearing at the Chanel Gabrielle exhibition last week, so I thought I’d do a quick OOTD post with links for anyone who was after something similar. The ones I wore are actually vintage, and were gifted by my aunt who had them tailored for her in the 80’s. She fancy.

I paired them with a knotted white tee and a black-and-white floral print moto jacket, which was my way of adding some waist definition without having to tuck anything in. It was far too hot for that! If you prefer more coverage however, I think high waisted, tapered pants also look fantastic with boxy, architectural blouses. I’ll admit to having lustful thoughts about this one from Delpozo. Those sleeves though.
