As much as I love sharing my outfits on Instagram, I think I’m beginning to outgrow the format. Between the shop collaborations I’ve been doing and the sourcing questions to keep up with, it seems like my fashion posts need a little more legroom than my favourite app has to offer.
I’m still a bit wary of committing to full-fledged fashion blogging, but since Adam got such fun photos of my colourful Chinese New Year outfits, I thought I may as well share them here and give this new format a shot.
My family may not adhere to every Chinese New Year tradition, but we are serious about being properly attired for the season! As a rule, we wear new, brightly-coloured clothing (right down to our undies and sleepwear) for at least the first day of the new year.
Though we’re less particular about our accessories, this year I snagged myself a beautiful new necklace from Present Perfect to match my bright orange dress. Hopefully it’ll give my luck quota an extra boost…
Before I sign off, here’s a big thank you to all my readers and (2500!) IG followers for your love this past year. Happy New Year to you and your families, and may the year of the horse bring you lots of happiness and luck…no matter what you are wearing this weekend!
