When I heard about a new apartment complex boasting 300 square-foot units, I couldn’t help but cringe a little. My first apartment in college was that size, and however luxurious my digs were compared to dorm living, I can say with some certainty that the line between cozy and claustrophobic is fine and often blurred.

Needless to say, the experience has led to a mild preoccupation with large living spaces and oversized furniture, and I can get lost for hours in interior design publications – like the Restoration Hardware fall collection catalog, for example. To use the word they very aptly employed on their website, behold:

I’m pretty sure that the trend of ever-shrinking apartments will never allow for stores like Restoration Hardware to open in Singapore, but for now I’m happy loving their wares from afar. Although, I have been looking for some antlers to hang over my bed for ages…
