I’m a little embarrassed to admit this, but Instagram is kind of killing blogging for me.
Somehow, the idea of writing whole paragraphs seems far less appealing when brief little musings coupled with a fun snapshot do such a good job of sharing what I’m up to with you. In real time. With hashtags.
Am I just being lazy? Absolutely. But since I have no intention of abandoning my Instagram account, I’ve decided to lure myself back onto the blog with a bit of experimental crossover content: I’m going to start beta test-posting my outfits of the day (a.k.a #ootd) here as well, with a little more information about the clothing.
I get so many questions and emails about my #ootd posts that I figure this will be a fantastic way to kill two birds with one stone. You’ll know where to find the stuff I’m wearing, and I’ll have the chance to explain in great detail why I own so many grey tops. (Seriously, have you counted?)
So please bear with me while I try to pick up the pace on these and my regular design postings. In the meantime, see you on Instagram!
