On the second day of CNY, I wore more blinding brights to visit with friends…and won $16 at $2 blackjack! Maybe there’s something to this superstition after all.
Whether or not my every-colour-of-the-rainbow-skirt had anything to do with it, I quite like the idea that bright colours attract bright fortunes. That’s the kind of superstition a designer like me can appreciate!
Just for the record, Adam lost $30 by playing it fast and loose as the banker. Was he wearing bright colours? Nope.
Looks like the bright way is the right way, though I seriously doubt my grey-on-grey-on-grey wardrobe has enough tonal variety to last me till the 14th. Do you think bright lipstick counts?
