It may sound counter-intuitive, but bandage dresses have always been my instant pick-me-up on days when I’m not feeling my fittest. They’re just so good at holding everything in…and up! What’s not to love?

Though bandage dresses can be a bit much on their own for daytime wear, I’ve learnt to adapt mine by wearing them with blazers. In colder climates, I love them worn with tights and a chunky sweater over top.

For contrast, I paired this dress with a voluminous shawl collar jacket. You’ll have to forgive me, but I couldn’t find anything similar to link to in today’s outfit credits. Designers this season must find the shape very unfashionable, though I can’t imagine why. Oversized shawl collars are so classic.

My necklace however is current, and was just made available for purchase on Present Perfect. Happy Shopping!
