Today’s face features two very oddly named eyeshadows: Bobbi Brown’s Velvet Plum, which in no way reads plum on me…and Make Up Store’s Gilded Peach, which isn’t a peach at all but a shimmery red-brown. (It’s been discontinued, but MAC’s Antiqued is decently close)
Nonetheless, both are nonetheless are gorgeous colours. Velvet Plum is just deep and shimmery enough to be used on its own for a sophisticated minimalist look, and Gilded Peach is one of my favourite warm crease colour. Together, they ended up looking very rose-gold, so I rolled with it and dabbed a tiny bit of Josie Maran Coconut Watercolour Eyeshadow in Rio de Rose Gold on the centre of my lid. To finish, I highlighted the inner corners of my eye with the gold shade from Majolica Majorca’s Trick-On Eyeshadow quad in BR751.
