Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know that Space NK Apothecary is doing $25 off $100 right now when you enter the code EXPLORE15 at checkout.
Their more mainstream brands include Kevyn Aucoin, Laura Mercier and Hourglass, but they also carry ones that aren’t as easy to find such as By Terry, Chantecaille, Eve Lom and Ellis Faas. I actually bought my much-loved Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight highlighter from them last year during a similar sale, which I reviewed here.
This time round, I’ll be buying their Sensual Skin Enhancer which has been super effective in covering up my acne scars, and Hourglass’ Mineral Veil Primer which has been great at keeping my oily skin matte. I’m also eyeing up some lovely Diptyque candles as Christmas gifts to get a jump on my holiday shopping.
FYI they do ship internationally, but you need to call them and place your order on the phone. My top picks and personal temptations:

My first RBR purchase was blush in Delicata (really enjoy) and Orpheline (not sure it’s the best color for me), and eyeshadow in Abyssinian Catbird (fun, but more evening than day) and Bohemian Waxwing (love this, very close to the Chanel Safari I have worn for years off and on). And then – I made another purchase. 🙂 The second was eyeshadow in Rain Dove, Golden Rhea, and Angelic Cockatiels, and my first ever cream eyeshadows in Chiffon Ringlet and Brocade Skipper. I am still playing with them all, but I was surprised that Angelic Cockatiels had a strong orangey undertone when applied that I did not love on my coloring. Overall though, I am really pleased. Unfortunately, I have a long makeup wish list, including the RBR blush in Gracilis and the Metamorphoses mattifying primar, and then there is my wish list from other brands. I welcome any recommendations. I am also pale with dark eyes, but my undertone is pinker. I’ve been using the Kevyn Aucoin SSE in 02, which is a good undertone match but a hair too light right now.

Hi Emily – I love your website, and you tipped me over the edge to my first Rouge Bunny Rouge purchase! Which color of Sensual Skin Enhancer do you use?
If you ever decide to feature more posts about blush for pale skin, I would love to read them. 🙂

So glad you’re finding it useful Natalie! I’m sure you’re going to love your Rouge Bunny Rouge stuff – what did you order?
In the Sensual Skin Enhancer I use #03, which is a spot-on match to my pale olive self 🙂
