When it comes to red lips, winged liner may be the more classic pairing but I find this soft and undefined approach to be much younger and less dated. This eye look was done with my Urban Decay Naked 1 palette, which I’ve for some reason been neglecting a lot recently. I’m glad to have rediscovered its magic though – it really is perfect for neutral-but-polished looks and I love how foolproof it is. Literally every combination you can make from it just works somehow.
Here I used Naked all over, Buck in the crease and Virgin in the inner corners. Also, the red lipstick I’m wearing here is OCC Lip Tar in NSFW, which I’m hesitant to declare my favourite red ever…but it is certainly right up there.

May 17, 2015 at 5:53 pmHoly canoli, you finally have comments open! Hurrah. Thank you. I love the eye look. I’m about 3-4 shades darker than you are so Naked doesn’t show up on my lids (I use it as a transition shade instead), and Buck is only about a shade or two darker. I like mixing buck in with darkhorse to make it darker so that it shows. This look on you certainly makes the green in your eyes pop!

May 17, 2015 at 6:26 pmI’m still in the process of some website tweaks, but thank you for noticing! Naked doesn’t show up all that much on my lids either (which are darker than the rest of my face) so I use it the same way you do. I tend to use Smog more than Darkhorse, but they are both such great browns. The blues I barely touch!
