The LA heatwave doesn’t seem to have gotten the memo about it being fall, so I’m standing my ground against this persistent T-shirt weather with some autumn-inspired makeup today.
The eyeshadow colours I used here are all from my recent foray into eyeshadow making. It’s such a fun hobby, but it unfortunately means that I can’t exactly list the products like I normally do. If you do like these colours however, you might want to check out Christian Dior’s eyeshadow palette in Trafalgar and YSL’s Couture Clash Palette in Metal Clash (limited edition) which both have very similar shades.
The lipstick I’m wearing is another custom mix, but this time from two readily-available and inexpensive drugstore products: NYX Slim Lip Pencil in Blackberry and Revlon Super Lustrous Lipcolor in Cherries in the Snow. I really need to find a colour that is exactly this, right out of the tube. If you have suggestions, I’d love to hear them in the comments!

October 8, 2015 at 3:43 amI can’t think of any lipsticks that are exactly that color! it’s lovely though! I love how you faded the eyeshadow color from an almost orangey to deep burgundy. Lovely, I need to try and do something like this.

October 10, 2015 at 2:42 amI’m sure if I’m diligent enough at MAC I’ll find something similar, but it’s not a colour I think I’d wear enough to buy a whole tube of. Then again, it *is* fall…
