For me, Lightscapade is one of those highlighters that has an appeal beyond just the way it wears – it’s so pretty that it makes me happy to use it. I know this sounds dorky, but the visual of making my face up with an opal is terribly amusing.
Of course, it also checks the boxes of all the usual things I like in a highlighter: white base, not too pink, can be built up for serious shine. So even without its good looks, it’s right up there in the winner’s circle. You can read my more descriptive review here.
This was actually just a quick fotd I threw together in my haste to test Lightscapade, but I’ll be revisiting it soon (once I recover from this horrible cold) to see what it looks like layered over a liquid highlighter. I’m expecting lots of drama!

July 10, 2016 at 9:53 pmIt’s definitely not iridescent in the sense that it has a secondary hue to it on certain angles. It’s got a straight up warm-white shimmer as per the swatches here: http://www.emilyloke.com/beauty/product-reviews/review-mac-lightscapade/
