Urban Decay Evidence 2 Urban Decay Evidence 3 Urban Decay Evidence 01

Blue is colour I’ve always shied away from when it comes to makeup. It’s the epitome of a cool tone, and cool toned makeup somehow just isn’t my friend. But then, in the midst of organising my vanity, I rediscovered Urban Decay’s Evidence and just couldn’t look away. It’s just the most perfect rich blue. So I piled it on and balanced it with a warm brown crease colour and a hint of burgundy in the outer V to tie it all together. I daresay the outcome was quite neutral and surprisingly wearable for me…albeit very dramatic!

P.S: Aside from working in warm tones on my eyes, I also broke out Too Faced’s Book of Bronzers to add a bit of warmth to the rest of my face and neck as well. If you ever feel you look washed out, adding a touch of bronzer is a nifty trick to remember when working with colours that aren’t natively flattering to your skin tone.

I love this look! I have the same issue, blue’s can be a bit jarring against my skin. I think the brown crease and burgandy outer corner makes it super wearable though! Also love the gold inner highlight that’s awesome. Beautiful!
