I can’t believe it Christmas Eve! Is everyone ready?
To be honest, I’m nowhere near done prepping for tonight’s big dinner…but at least my makeup is on point! I was initially going to do this smokey green look, but we always deck our home out in purple and silver for the holidays so I thought I’d try that instead.
I didn’t want to go too dark, so I went with an iridescent purple. Iridescent pigments can brighten a dark base colour without really taking down its intensity, so they’re a great choice if you want to do a dramatic eye look that’s more colourful than goth.
And because it just wouldn’t be a holiday look without some sparkle, I added a half-wing in silver glitter above my black liner.
It’s meant to match the silver leaves I’m wearing in my hair, a.k.a the decoration I “borrowed” from our tree. Thankfully we have so many ornaments up you can’t even tell it’s missing. Anyway, it’s back to the kitchen for me…that keto gingerbread isn’t going to bake itself. Merry Christmas everyone!
