Sorry for the pic spam in this post, but SUQQU EX-32 Rengazome looked so good that I wanted to photograph it on as many angles as possible. Now you know what I mean about this being the most wearable red eyeshadow ever. It’s SO flattering, you guys.
I went with a classic smokey placement here, and used the golden-olive all over the lid, the brown along my upper and lower lashlines and outer V, the red to blend through the crease and the champagne as an inner V and brow bone highlight. I applied the red with a fluffy crease brush so it appears more like a diffused warmth here rather than an obvious pop of red.
I’m also wearing SUQQU’s Pure Colour Blush in 03 Sumiasayake and their new Extra Glow Lipstick in 05 Saeanzu (listed as Orange Red on the website) which is a glossy, semi-sheer orange. A deep, vampy red lip would also work well with Rengazome and be perfect for fall, but I think Saeanzu’s coral tone makes this a lovely transitional look for late summer.
Can I share my favourite blush tip with you? Whenever I wear a red or pink-based eyeshadow, I always dust a teensy bit of that shadow over my blush to subtly tie in my eye and cheek shades. That way, everything is congruent without being matchy-matchy, and I’m not spending an extra 20 minutes looking for a blush with the exact same undertones as my eyeshadow!
You can read a more in-depth review on EX-32 Rengazome and see swatches of the individual shades here.
Pricing and Availability: EX-32 Rengazome is priced at £45, Pure Colour Blush at £30 and Extra Glow Lipstick at £23. The collection launches tomorrow (August 11th) at Selfridges, and later this month (August 25th) at Fenwicks of Bond St and Harrods. Rengazome seems to be sold out online, but if you email suqquuk@eqpuk.com there’s a good chance you’ll still be able to snag one.

August 11, 2016 at 2:47 pmThank you Linda! I aspire to achieve the intensity of red you coaxed out of this palette in your FOTD…but I’m so heavy-handed with blending I’m not sure that will ever happen. It’s a good excuse to keep experimenting though!
