You’ve already heard my excited ramble about Suqqu Blend Colour Eyeshadow 03 Matsukasa in my swatch post here, but as with all neutral eyeshadows I think you really need to see it in action to fully appreciate it.
In my opinion, the only thing better than a palette of warm neutrals is a palette of warm neutrals that blend together like a dream and make even my its-too-hot-for-makeup-but-I-need-to-not-look-terrible-so-let’s-just-slap-this-on-and-go hackjobs look like the result of calculated application.
And Matsukasa is it, you guys. This FOTD is proof.
Another reason I’m so smitten with Matsukasa is that it’s my very first luxury neutral quad. Its predecessors in my collection were Japanese and Korean drugstore offerings that were cute but too sparkly for everyday wear; this is the sophisticated, grown up version I should have upgraded to ages ago. It’s the makeup equivalent of being bumped up from economy to first class!
