I think you can tell from my expression here that hate gloomy day FOTDs. Although this colour shifted all the way to yellow gold in real life, the photos only picked up a limited spectrum due to the lack of light. It’s still a gorgeous colour (and I love how this turned out) but please refer to my swatches here for a better idea of what these pigments look like. Also, here is another look I did with Inglot pigments recently, which was less dramatic but photographed in better lighting.
FYI the lipstick I’m wearing here is probably my favourite brown-nude: MAC x Brooke Candy Vamplify Lipgloss in Pamela. I love that I finally have a non-matte option on days I want to do the whole 90’s thing, because most of the liquid lipsticks that are so popular right now can be pretty uncomfortable. This I can wear all day! Bonus: its sweet scent reminds me of the brown Lip Smackers glosses I actually *did* wear in the 90’s, which is kinda cool.
That the memory makes me feel really young and really old at the same time is somewhat less cool, but that’s nostalgia for you, huh?
