Im spite of – or perhaps because of – my constantly playing around with makeup, it took a long time to understand what kind of eyeshadow placements were the most flattering on me. So far, I think it’s a toss up between blown-out smokey eyes and tulip placements…though I tend to do tulips more since they’re better as quick daytime looks.
I love adding a spot of glitter on the centre of my lids to really oomph up my tulip placements. I’m using an old favourite here – Stila Magnificent Metals in Kitten – but Urban Decay’s Moondust shadows are perfect for this as well. It’s definitely not necessary (especially if you’re already doing a metallic tulip eye) but I’m a total magpie and can’t help heaping on as much sparkle as possible!
