I’ve been on a bit of an eyeliner-free-spree lately, partly because I’ve fallen out of love with overly “done” looks and partly because I’ve been lazy. The last time I went through this phase, I completely lost the ability to draw on winged liner from lack of practice.
No, I’m not kidding. You really CAN forget how to draw on eyeliner if you go without it for long enough.
Having learnt my lesson the hard, frustrating, messy way, I make a point to wear winged liner every now and then…even if I’m not really feeling it. I do like how this eye look came out with the liner – I used Sephora’s Long-Lasting 12HR Wear Eye Liner which I actually find to be easier to work with/control than some brush pens. It’s also way more opaque, and so reasonably priced for the quality – definitely one of Sephora’s unsung heroes.
