I was feeling festive today, so out came the copper eyeshadow!
As in, THE copper eyeshadow. Copper by Ardency Inn is probably one of my favourite single shadows of all time. It’s creamy soft to the touch, intensely pigmented and so easy to apply and wear. I also love that it makes my eyes look more green. Ever since I received it as a gift last Christmas, it’s become the yardstick by which I measure all other eyeshadows.
P.S. Ardency Inn isn’t available in Singapore, but you can find it here at Beautylish which offers free shipping on orders over $35 USD. They stock lots of cult favourite beauty brands that aren’t available locally, so if you’ve been eyeing up brands like Anastasia, Becca, Kevyn Aucoin, Charlotte Tilbury etc. then this is the site for you!
Face: Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation, Cle de Peau Concealer, Innisfree No-Sebum Loose Powder
Cheeks: NYX Taupe Blush // Eyes: MAC Mystery, Deep Damson and Haux in the crease,
Ardency Inn MODSTER Manuka Honey Enriched Pigments in Copper on the lid, Maybelline Colossal Cat Eye Mascara
Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz
Lips: NYX Slim Lip Pencil in Mauve, Sephora Luster Matte in Fig Luster

December 17, 2015 at 4:04 pmYES! Love a good copper shade. It’s really hard to find coppers that maintain their depth without leaning pinky. Really love this. I really enjoy ColourPop in Game Face. It’s definitely really intense as well. Lovely look!

December 29, 2015 at 8:33 pmThis is definitely one of the better coppers out there (the best one to me at least, from my limited experience). I haven’t actually tried ColourPop shadows yet but am really torn – on one hand they’re so pretty and reasonable, but on the other I’d be so sad when they dried up!

December 17, 2015 at 11:20 amOhhhh, a TRUE copper! I’ve lemmed these ever since they came out but always hear horror stories of breakage during shipping. I guess I’ll just have to haul from Beautylish! He…he…he…

December 29, 2015 at 8:34 pmI got lucky and managed to pick mine up when they still sold them in store at Sephora, but mine broke anyway when I was travelling back to Singapore. Nothing some rubbing alcohol couldn’t put right though. Mine is good as new now!
