Beauty Bite Beauty Face of the Day

I have a particular affinity for bright lipsticks. They just brighten everything up and make whatever else is on my face appear so much more interesting in combination.

This particular colour is Bite Beauty’s Luminous Lip Creme in Palomino, which is described as a vibrant magenta. Not to split hairs or anything, but I’d describe it as a bright fuchsia pink with a bit of a chameleon undertone. On first glance it looks like a blue-based pink, but overall it actually comes across as quite warm. Strange, but wonderful!

PS If you’re interested in trying this colour but aren’t entirely sure about it, you can buy this in a mini size Mix and Mingle duo. It comes with a mini of Pomegranate, Bite’s ever-popular red (read: a failsafe classic in case bright pink doesn’t work out for you!)

Lovely! Palomino is one of my favorites. Interestingly, it pulls quite cool on me.

I’d say it pulls cool-neutral on me, but that could be because my own colouring is so warm that it turns everything!

This is my favorite color of lipstick in general, and it looks AWESOME on you, even with the warm eyes! Fab contrast!

Thank you! It’s definitely a bizarrely flattering shade…usually nothing with blue undertones works on me.

I love this shade! So pretty, I really want to pick up some of Bite’s duo’s because I really regretted not doing so last year. And this years color combinations are really lovely!
