Today’s theme of dark, glossy lips was something I’d been looking forward to since the start of the challenge. I’m usually pretty feminine and borderline preppy, but boy do I love me some goth lipstick.
To keep the focus on my lips, I went with fairly subtle eye makeup. The liner was a last-minute touch to add a bit of balance; I’d initially wanted to go completely without eyeshadow, but I eventually decided this approach was more polished.
I ended up being impressed by the simple drama of this look. I’m going to have to remember it for days when I’m dying to wear statement makeup but am short on time!
